2014 // HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Wow, another year had passed and really I think time flies. This year, I'll be turning nineteen. LIKE WHUT! I can't even imagine myself growing up so quickly. I still remember how it was like in secondary school and the next moment, I'm going to start full-time work with my diploma? WHAT? This is so unreal. I know, this is not the first time I'm working, but still going into a full-time job is something new to me. I've never worked full time before. So this is going to be a big change. I'm expecting this coming year to be a year of major change, many things out of my comfort zone. I'm gonna be even more drained than ever. Probably this is going to be one of my busiest year yet. Going on to being 19 and one step ahead of all of my friends, I think this is something good. My new year resolution this year is slightly different from the past years, I don't know. For this year, I want to.. 1. Save money, simply for the future. 2. Be a blessing to people in every way I can. (To bring joy, and let people appreciate and enjoy my presence.) 3. Grow closer to God, depend more on Him. 4. Achieve work-life balance. (Since many things will be changing this year) Honestly, I cannot think of anymore new year resolution. The rest of the things I want to achieve suddenly seems to not matter anymore. And honestly, I'm kind of scared that I'm moving so quickly. I wish that sometimes time can slow down.. But it can't. The next moment I know, it'll be 2015 already. Everything just passes, so what's important is to create a legacy. Know what kind of legacy you want to leave behind whenever you step into somewhere new, or when you leave somewhere. I want to plant seeds everywhere I go, so that someday the seed will bear fruits. Be someone that impacts people, that's what I want to do. I'm looking forward to what this year has prepared for me. Let's run this race together! :) |
