CHRISTMAS! (and a happy new year!)

This year, Christmas wasn't much of a big deal. In fact, all the hype was actually BEFORE Christmas Day itself.. So when it comes to the actual day it kind of became :/ We had an awesome Candlelight Service in church last weekend. Took many pretty photographs. Too bad it was my ushering week so I couldn't sit with the cg, but nevertheless, I went and snapped a few photos with them and some of my usher friends too! :)

Even though I was feeling all so :/ but it was still an amazing 2 days on the eve and on Christmas day itself. On the eve of Christmas, I wasn't doing much really. Then I posted a short rant on my Facebook saying that I have absolutely nothing to do on Christmas. And then Andy and Meiman started commenting and all and end up I went out with the both of them. Initially I really though we're just gonna eat some stuff and all. But ended up we just slacked till quite late. And it's a first time at a cafe-bar. :) I met a 3 new friends so that's something cool. Hahah. So that was Christmas eve. On Christmas Day, I went to Singapore Arts Museum with Andy to find Meiman. And also to go around taking photos. Honestly, I'm not a photographer, so I learnt a lot from Andy that day! (YAYYY!)

This is one of the installation that really caught my eye. As you can tell, the sculptures are really really small. At the exhibition itself they even provided magnifying glass so that you can look closely at the little sculptures. I mean, it is really really detailed. I don't know how someone can make something so small and yet still so detailed. *thumbs up* I don't think I can ever do that!

This is another sculpture that I really like! Hahaha! It was at the first floor and one of the first few art piece that we saw. Andy loved this so much that he took a selfie with this! Hahah. You cannot see from this picture but the boy isn't wearing anything in this sculpture. If I didn't remember wrongly it is portraying the nature of the children at some country (which I forgot) and that nudity and all these actions that are seemed as inappropriate to the other culture are okay for them. This is really a very funny and interesting piece.

We also went into this exhibition that is name (Untitled). It is really cool, like they have installations and sculptures and different kind of art piece without a name. The visitors are allowed to write what they think the art piece should be called on a piece of paper and slot it into a slot beside the installation. Honestly, some names were really creative.. :P

Anyway, after art museum we went to Singapore National Museum, nothing really exciting there. Then we went to look for food.. Wanted to have some Thai food at sunshine plaza, then it was closed. Then we wanna go strictly pancakes, also closed. Sian... So ended up at Astons. Then we met Meiman again and headed down to Vivo then to henderson wave. That place is amazing at night. It's really peaceful. (And of course the couples PDA-ing over there but thank God it was too dim to see what they are doing). I wanna go there again! :D And so that concludes Christmas.

2013 really passed very very quickly, I can't even.. I'm now 3 day away from the last day of 2013. Time really flies, I'm going to be 19 soon. Let's do a rewind about this year, shall we?
