PARKS AND MORE PARKS! Since I know what I'm going to leave Kidsworld (my current job) this month, I used the badge to go to all the parks under Wildlife Reserve Singapore for free. Of course, I did it with none other than my awesome friend Merilyn! :) We planned for this like long time ago but there weren't many common free dates but since the opportunity came and we are going to leave already, so might as well. I spent my entire week with Merilyn. Yes I mean monday to friday. So on Monday, we went to Jurong Bird Park. It has been ages ever since I went to Jurong Bird Park. The last time I remember going there was when I was 6 or something like that? I don't know. But anyway, we met early in the morning at Nex and we decided to buy some snacks so that we can eat at JBP and save money on the food there (since it is also expensive). To our surprise, our bill at Cold Storage came up to $12??? LIKE HOW DID WE EVEN SPEND SO MUCH? So yeah, when we realized it, it was too late. So Merilyn went and ask for a refund the next day. Anyway, we made our way down to JBP and had some wonderful conversations while on the train. I introduced her to the game Battle Camp and yay! SHE JOINED IN! So yeap we went in and explored around. We went to their Kidsworld and really.. Their waterplay area cannot be compared to ours. There's almost nobody at the waterplay and yaaa.. it is so relaxing and they have 4 WSO? like...... whattttttt... Anyway, spent a wonderful day there. Here are some of the nicer photos I've taken.      Then we went for leaders' meeting and that's all for tuesday. Wednesday, I went to River Safari, Zoo and Night Safari. It was just the both of us for RS and Zoo, but for Night Safari, Dreo joined us! :) As for River Safari, it was very fast cause we've been there like tonnes of time so yeah we spent half an hour queueing up for food at the Panda Cafe but it is still worth it!   After the Panda Cafe we walked around before going to Zoo and catch some shows. We walked around first and then to Kidsworld, sat on the carousel for the first time and then we went for the shows. But then something pretty tragic happened - Merilyn dropped her phone into the Tug Boat area... Well.. The iphone died on the spot of course. We were very shocked and yeah.. Tried to rescut the phone and did it revive? Kinda. This appeared.  Not sure if that shows that it has a chance of survival.. but the fact that the screen showed something, it is a good sign right? :D :D Anyhow, it is the first time I actually watch the Rainforest Fights Back show and also the Elephant Show. I enjoyed the elephant show more than the Rainforest Fights back because the elephants are really cute and smart! Hehehe then we went back to River Safari because we booked for our Amazon River Quest at 4.30pm. But then... it was pouring so we spent our spare time aitting at the big glass aquarium there, ate our chips and then listen to some guy talk and explain about the manatee.. We were saying how interesting (and by interesting i mean boring) his voice is. HAHAHAHA. After that we met with Dreo and we had dinner at Bongo Burger... it was like pouring rain. The lightning and thunder is so scary.. So throughout dinner, Dreo and Merilyn successfully physco-ed me to watch anime which I'm currently watching now - Sword Art Online. Never for once in my life I thought I'd watch anime. But ohwell :P so we were just talking halfway then this angmo guy suddenly asked if he could sit down with us. So yeah he sat down and we started talking to him and ended up we walked Night Safari together hahah.  Cool experience. I LOVE THE SHOW SO MUCH!!!! they really rehearsed and acted in the show. Really scary..... So that's all for the 4 parks in 2 days! It was tiring but definitely a lot of fun! :D :D |
