I never knew what it meant to really have a passion for something, to be willing to sacrifice without complaining. To love something/someone so much.

Until this period of time.

It made me realize that besides music being my ultimate talent and hobby, I really love my job. This is something important that many people wish that they would be able to say, either now or in the future. But I'm glad that I'm able to say it at just the age of 20.

Recently, work has been pretty intense. With an accreditation to go for and audits to go through, there are lots of things to prepare and change. The way we write lesson plans, the way we do evaluations, our classroom design, the learning corner activities.. etc. And really, the only thing that is constant is change. I cannot agree more to that sentence. With this pile of things to do, I volunteered to stay back after work to complete some stuff.  (since I'm the closing staff, it is even easier for me) While most of my friends and even my mum kept on commenting "wah, poor thing!" or "OT got pay or not?" I realized that all these didn't matter to me at all.

In fact, I feel perfectly okay, even if I am not paid for the extra time spent. And THIS is the difference, between having a job and having a passion for your job. I have never willingly sacrificed this much for anything in my life, until now. It is a good thing. With that being said, I'm still a very new teacher, there are still lots of mistakes to make, lots of room for improvement and everything. I'm still learning as weeks pass, how to handle certain situations and how to solve some problems. As the children learn, I learn too.

And to all my friends that have yet to figure out their passion.. I really hope you do find your passion someday and go for it.
