HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I think that giving thanks should not be a one-day thing. Instead it should be something that we do everything, right? Like being appreciative of the little things in life. Ephesians 5:20 "giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ" And of course, this post I'm going to list everything I am thankful to God for. The list is endless, really. So here it goes, I am thankful for: 1. My life. Every single breath I take, each new day is a gift from God. I'm thankful for being alive, being able to make a difference to the people around me. 2. My friends (I'll go to specific people later, but this is generally my friends) They help me to learn and to grow. They teach me things I can't learn from home. They make me laugh and always add joy to my life :) Also supporting me in whatever I do. .jpg) 3. My family. For providing me whatever I need.  4. Talents. I'm thankful for these God-given talents, playing the guitar/singing/playing the keyboard, they are really things i've never imagined myself to be doing in the past. 5. Past mistakes. I'm thankful for these things that made me stronger, things that defined who I am today. 6. Finances/Job. Thankful that even though my family isn't rich, we can still afford to travel overseas at least once every year :)  7. N507 Thank you guys for the endless laughter and the encouragement. All of your willingness to volunteer to do things really encourages me too.  8. Moosie Thank you for listening to me rant, go high with me when I fangirl about Catching Fire or Taylor Swift, talking rubbish with me about anything and everything. Thank you for sharing your life with me, although I'm not the best listener.  9. Zac After that one twitter reply and the super fail prank you tried, we became so close! Thank you for trusting me and always pouring your heart out to me. I also thank you for bearing my rants. Thank you for keeping my faith going and always encouraging me.  10. Jiayong Thank you for helping me grow so much this year, guiding me in my CGC and also leading the cell group. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to grow and help out in the CG even more.  11. Merilyn Thank you for always being so bubbly, cheerful and happy about anything and everything. I love being around you and you never fail to encourage me to keep on keeping on. Love every single bus ride back home from work with you as I always learn something new. Thank you for being so much like a sister to me. And of course lastly, 12. Jesus. Died for my sins 2000 years ago. Blessed me so much in my entire life. Gave me everything that I ever need. Loved me unconditionally. Gave me strength when I was weak, spoke words that bring me through touch period of my life, guided me in my life. Did many amazing things in my life (although I know bigger miracle and the best thing have yet to come!) and brought me closer to You. Thank You, Jesus, for bringing these people and events into my life. |
