Practicum. So.. this is it, the start of my practicum. I officially started my practicum today, I don't know why but as I walked out of the house I just felt uneasy. Like I was afraid of what might happen in the center. but the moment I reach there the feeling all just disappears. This is a good thing.. So as usual, I thought that I would take the K1 class (which I hoped!) but in the end I got N2. They are not that bad at all, except that they are VERY smart. Like they are seriously smarter than the current K1 class. I was there with them during their Chinese class and like woah, the way the speak mandarin is seriously better than the K1. Now I'm worried my activities will not be challenging enough for them. But on the other hand, the teachers are very willing to help me to do the learning corner and everything. They even photocopied a copy of the topics that they are going to cover for term 4 and their objectives. These are really great help. I'm really thankful for the school and the teachers. :) I'm looking forward to a great practicum with my new class. Oh, the special thing about this class is that I have one child with Autism, this takes everything to a whole new level. More energy draining and everything. So I really pray hard that everything will go smoothly. Today is also the start of the trial. Stay strong. I'm always sending little quiet prayers to the team and the church. I hope everything will be over soon. -JM |
