Chinese New Year
It's the 9th of February. Or should I say, the Eve of Chinese New Year. Honestly I'm like 1% excited about it. Mainly because I have a small family and it is not fun. I've only got 3 cousin on each side and there's nothing to be too excited about. What more, this year's visitation I'm only going to 4 houses. Two on my paternal side, and two on maternal side. Another annoying thing is how people will complain about another member of the family after they go home and be all unhappy. I don't like it. Despite the angpao money (which barely exceed 200 bucks most of the time) that I can receive, I still don't enjoy it. It's just another season to get FAT with all the good food, steamboat and everything. That's the only enjoyable part. Oh and also shopping for clothes! But I'm more excited for the post-cny thing, that is Valentines' Day! Nope, nobody asked me to be their Valentine. But this year it's gonna to be a girls' day out with my favourite girl, Ecclesia! She's coming back for CNY and I get to spend a day with her! We are gonna rebond our hair again! So excited, and I'm still thinking if I should cut bangs. As usual, my mom doesn't like it. :/ but I feel I'm okay with it. We got the deal on Groupon and I still remember she made me buy the deal at 4am when I couldn't sleep. Probably after that we're gonna meet the guys and do something fun (okay this seems to sound wrong, but I don't know how to make it better..) together. Probably cycling or picnic or something. I don't know :/ Anyway, 祝大家新年快乐！如果需要快高长大那就赶快长大，应该生孩子就早生贵子！heheh! ^^ |
