Little updates
So I guess I haven't been updating my blog recently and I thought I should do an entry soon. What could be a better day than a mid-week post? (: The last big thing that happen to me was Chingay 2013, and after Chingay I did something pretty horrible. I CUT MY HAIR. I'm living in regret, I tell you. I didn't expect it to be so short, and the worst thing is that it will take me another 2 years before I grow it back to my old length.. And by old length, I mean this length:
Yes, it will take me another 2 long years ): Ohwell, and you must be thinking "it isn't that bad.." I guess it is. To the extent I didn't take many photos up till now. Jiayong says I look like a uni student. That means I look older.... T.T My hair was like almost the thing I'm happy about. Or rather, I realized that after I cut. It was something I'm confident about. Cutting it away brings me back to stuff like 2 years ago. I don't have that much confidence in myself to actually tell myself that I'm pretty anymore. :/ yes, the only wonderful thing about long hair is that you can do it in any way you like, even just letting it down is awesome. Now I just want to tie up my hair, but it looks ridiculously curly whenever I tie it up. (despite the rebonding I did earlier) I don't like it, okay, I mean it looks more healthy, but no.. So how SHORT is it exactly?
Maybe it is not THAT short, but after cutting, I almost cried okay. Don't laugh. Ohwell :( At least it would be less troublesome when it comes to showering time during camp. And yes, I AM TALKING ABOUT CAMP OCTRIS! (On Christ The Rock I Stand) I'm kind of excited about the camp because I'm one of the AGL! Then again, it would be my first time going to Pulau Ubin in 10 years plus and sleeping in tent outdoor.
This is like another Camp UNITE. Remember last year?
Once again, I'm in the blue house. YAY TO BLUE! (: I'm always in blue house, somehow. Except for dance ministry camp when I'm actually.. Orange. Ew. Anyway, this year would be a whole new games, I guess! (: I'm really excited about the camp which is in like.. 14 days! So that's exciting! Not exactly looking forward to showering time there, but looking forward to the games, meeting new people and bonding time! It would definitely be another awesome experience. The House Captains, GL, AGL would actually be heading down there this saturday, which I am actually super excited about.
I remember it is through this camp I know new friends especially those in my group like Jee, Arun, Justin, Marc, Max, Ronald.. And they are people that I still talk to (some of them) on a regular basis and also always never fail to say "Hi" to! Speaking of the people I met through camp, last week I actually met up with 2 of them. No, this is not confession time. Simply because I have nothing to confess.
Last week I finally got to watch ABTM2, I enjoyed it really much. I thought I was the only one that didn't get to watch it, but I guess I'm not alone. Last Wednesday I met Max to watch ABTM2. The movie was awesome and epic stuff happened. There was a auntie sitting beside me, and she freaking SNORED! I mean, okay, the movie started at 9.40pm, it is kind of late already.... :/ Hahaha, but she snore then wake up. So it's funny. And not only once, i think like 3 times she snored. I just laugh at her at the wrong time of the movie, SO ANTI-CLIMAX. Also, Max and I kept laughing at how Noah Yap tries so hard to cry in the movie. There was a scene where he was crying over his girlfriend and it was like a zoom in on his face, it was suppose to be a sad scene but the both of us just kept laughing. So yup, that was the first person I met. The second person was Kenneth. Okay, not like a VERY long time since i last saw him, I always see him in Chingay. So yup, i still see him pretty often. Anyway, last saturday we both didn't go to dance ministry and we went to watch Safe Haven instead. The movie was awesome awesome. I mean, it is one of the few movies that can be compared to the book. Usually you know, books are better than movie, but for Safe Haven it is comparable. The book is really nice, the movie just enhances it all. (:
Rating for both the movie?
ABTM2 - 7.5/10
Safe Haven - 8/10
:D So that's pretty much the update about my life. I've been sick since Saturday night.. But I'm recovering now, so that's good. I had to miss class which was not cool at all :( Ohwell, today is wednesday. A rest day. I'm also excited for my bday that is coming in 3 days! I can't believe I'm turning 18! SO OLD ALREADY SIA. SHIT :/ I'd wanna go Timbre and learn to drive! My goals after being 18. YES!
xoxo,
