Reality Check!

Again, it's time. REALITY CHECK.

I was talking to Nicole yesterday on the train ride back from Chingay rehearsal. She was telling me that she did a reality check. This got me thinking, I don't think I have actually done a reality check right now. I've been posting about what I want to do this year, my dreams, but not actually checking the reality. So here's reality, for me.

1) My school ends this November.
This means that I'll get my diploma in 10 months' time. Future is coming quick. I'm going into the work field. I have to be more responsible. I mean, I'll definitely (and most probably) be a childcare teacher, I'll be thrown there and what is expected of me would be everything that I have learnt. Besides all this, I have a really good idea NO IDEA what I am going to do after my diploma (besides working). That is something to worry about.

2) I am turning EIGHTEEN.
This number honestly scares me. Besides the fact that I feel young old... (okay, I know maybe I've offended some of you with that statement) I feel that eighteen is such a big number. I can't imagine how it would be like being eighteen. I'm no longer a secondary school girl that can go around doing silly stuff. Shit gets real now. It is time to grow up, be mature, make wise decision.

This two are the major things on my mind right now. The others are not much. I cannot believe that time pass to fast. I'm growing up so quickly, I cannot be that small little girl I wish to be anymore. But there will always be this kid inside of me, no matter what. It's the time where I don't want to grow up, I want to be 17. I guess I finally know why there is a movie called '17 Again' Hahaha! But this is reality. I'm not the little girl some people might used to know. I wish I can go back to being 17.. But not go back to the year 2012! I don't know, probably I have to start doing something.

However, I have one achievement unlock for the year 2013 already...

1. Find joy in doing housework. CHECKED! 
Probably people must be thinking that this is a major breakthrough for me. Yes it is, I can't even believe it for myself also. I like to do housework, but only when nobody is around. Example when there are days where I have no school and I'm just alone at home and I have nothing to do. I'll fold ALL the clothes and put it all in place, arrange the table, TV area, etc. I just haven't find the joy in sweeping the floor -.- Still, it's a good improvement. HA HA HA HA. (that's sarcastic, fyi.)
