One sentence
I was talking to Merilyn this particular day over whatsapp and she told me this one sentence that got my mind all blown up.. "Forcing a butterfly out of its cocoon does more harm than help" I mean, it is not something unfamiliar. I'm sure everyone knows what this sentence meant, but I just didn't think about this during that situation. Sometimes I just forget all about this, it is one thing to PUSH the person and it is another thing to FORCE a person. Pushing a person usually just means that the person still has a way out if he feels really uncomfortable being out of his comfort zone, but forcing means that there is no escape route and what lies ahead is fixed. I feel that sometimes out of frustration, I would FORCE people to do things instead and I end up being pretty mean. That's not a very good thing about me eh? Hahaha. I was speechless when Merilyn told me that one sentence that I just didn't know how to continue the conversation. Too many thought suddenly ran through my head and it was just too WOW for me to reply anything. Probably I've been forcing some people in my life, and I wish I could apologies. Different people learn and pick up things at different pace, I have to understand. |
