Happy Teachers' Day!

Well, I'm kind of a little too old for Teachers' Day Celebration, there's nothing much for me to celebrate also.. I wonder how many lecturers actually remembers my name. Hahah! So anyhow, I miss a few of my teachers really really much, they have be an awesome inspiration to me, also partially why I want to become an early childhood educator. Maybe now I can share about my top 3 favourite teachers, from primary and secondary school.  I mean it's really hard fr me to choose my top 3 because basically I like all my teachers, except like.. 3 of them. Hahaha. They must have done something to me or do some ridiculous thing to make me hate her. Hahah! :x Alright, so now I shall talk about my 3 most favourite teacher! (In no particular order)

1. Ms Kok!
I'm pretty sure the rest of the entire PL Sec population would hate her to the core or laugh at her for some stupid stuff that she did, but to me and 4B1 of 2011, she is obviously our favourite teacher. She took us for Emath for 2 years in a row for Sec 3 and Sec 4. No doubt she is a very strict teacher, but she is super fun and cute if you actually do your homework and listen to her in class. I remember many many moments in class that we actually laugh until we teared in class! Hahah! One incident is when she show us her photo album of her Japan trip and then she accidentally show us her zilian photo, it was a mega joke! But she didn't take it seriously when we laughed at her. I love those moments, I think my math improved also because of her ^^ But on the other hand, she is NOT one of the teachers that inspired me to become an educator. She is just super encouraging and nice! (:

2. Ms Tan (aka 陈老师)
First point to make, I love all my chinese teachers, except like 1 of them. Hahah. But I specially love Ms Tan because despite all the unhappiness the class gave her, she continued to be happy and cheerful everytime she walked into the class. She is lenient, I will say. Very very nice actually. Besides those days that she PMS, she is always nice to us! Especially those weaker students, she always encourage them and everything. And somehow she picked for me to join the GB's FUN competition and through that process we got a little closer and all cuz sometimes we take the same bus back home. I remember the time she told the GB girls (she's both my CCA and Chinese teacher) that she's going to leave go Cambodia for mission trip because it was God's calling.. People cried and all. It happened in Chinese lesson too, a few of us cried, I ALMOST cried, but didn't. She's also meiman's last time chinese teacher too! Hahah, coincidence eh? The effort she make for the class, to translate words into english for the weaker students really is a great great effort. She tell stories after stories when sharing about the news and doing the 报章报道 :) She IS one of my inspiration to become an educator.

I kind of can't make up my mind about who should be the third so I shall skip that. Maybe Ms Gan, or maybe Ms Ang, my P1 Chinese teacher, or Ms Tham, my P6 chinese teacher. HAHA! Okay, I'm a little biased towards chinese teachers, but they are really the nice people. In primary school, you just have these few teachers who just try to force the religion into the class. I wasn't a Christian back then, and I absolutely don't like teachers who comes up with a big lecture just because a student said something that sided another religion. They are just disrespectful. Or one that tells bible stories whole day? Nah. I mean even right now, I still think that it is kind of rude. You disturb your whole class and have a big talk about whoever religion is better and right? Think about it.

To the teachers that inspired me, THANK YOU so much! I really love you all and thank you for all the effort you put into the class :) i might not be the best student, but i still appreciate all your work! :D
